So being a somewhat metallurist myself but mainly strategic metals like 7000 series aluminum and titanium and of course Steel I see you are skimming the slag or bort off the top using BORAX...how hard to take to 22k or 24k? have you ever tried fractional smelting? This is where you have alloy or mixed metals and start with the lowest melting point of the metals once the melt out you pour the raise the temp to the next lowest and keep repeating. Or does your style of inductive furnace not allow? - od Robbob9933

if you want to get pure gold you need to refine it it is a complex proses and is rather dangrus using acids to disolve the metales then outher cemacales to seprate it
