If your gold jewelry is stamped with three numbers, so does it mean how many percent with one digit behind the comma it have, so 333 mean 33,3%. - od andreas351

Hi Christine. A carat (ct) is a unit of weight for gemstones where one carat equals 1/5 of a gram, or 200 milligrams. A karat (K) is not a unit of weight. The word karat refers to the amount of gold in a particular item. Karats are measured in units of 24, where 24 karat gold is pure gold. - od National Jewelry Liquidation Center
i have a bracet which an hallmark 18ct...what do you mean by ct?is it the same meaning with k? im just confused about it. - od Christine Joy Rufino
Is the makeup test reliable in any way? maybe it sounds silly but I was once told that if you rub a real gold item across your cheek (with makeup on ofc) it will leave a black line. I remember trying it out with jewellery at the time and it seemed true.
