Gold Rush - Working Gold Mine - Western Montana, MT

Komentarze: Gold Rush - Working Gold Mine - Western Montana, MT I deal with hard rock and much finer gold.  Have you ever tested your tailings for fine gold?  The equipment you are using probably doesn't get much under 50 mesh.

Keith - od Hard Rock University
Very nice vid thanks - od djpitr
You must be friends with Rob he set up is very similar and it works well for him up on Hughes Creek. . I know he has pulled up to 12 oz a week last summer. For those idiots that are concerned about reclamation, Montana is one tuff state When their done you wont even know they were there. - od Bob Jensen

It is all well and good to get the gold, but what some people want to know is what the miners do after they are done. Can anything grow on the land after they are done? Do they have any responsibility to try to restore the topsoil so that vegetation regrows? They way I see it, it could be over a hundred years before the land is back to normal, even if efforts are made to restore it. Or maybe they figure, they can do whatever we want and don't have to clean up? Aside from that, I like the double gold wheel concentrators. Neat setup. I'd like to get some gold but I think panning is as much as I'll be able to do on state land. - od Slim Shysty
The dirty water in the sluice boxes at 6:50 will wash a lot of fine gold right through.  Clean up the water and the gold recovery will be better.  The gold in the pans is coarse with not much fine gold. - od Lycoming320
To me it looks like more jerks messing with the natural beauty of my wonderful state. - od Paul Person
