Hey 49ers, Wallace here. Been following what I can on you tube. Just up behind where we put the flat bottom boat in there is a flow bench. I found nice flakes in the cobbles there. The trees growing on that bench are about 100 odd years old. That makes that bench a premium site. Below that cobble garden you will find a bonanza of nuggets and coarse gold. Watch carefully for scorpions, thats where I got a nasty bite on the inside of my right knee. Other than that little hazard, Im sure you and Dave will find buckets of nuggets. Good to see the Camp is filling up. Be down again next year. Would have liked to spend a month with you all this year, but the cow just calved and so did two of my kids. What I would have used for our mining has to be spent on visiting the kids. I ground up a thumb sized piece of ore the other day and it yielded just under four grams. Gotta love B.C.
