3 major reasons why entering old abandoned mines like that is stupid bordering on suicidal; 1, they can easily collapse & crush you, 2, there can be unseen deep vertical shafts to fall into, with or without deep water at the bottom 3, if there are much sulfides in the rock they will decompose from moisture & seeping water & the resulting chemical reactions will consume all the oxygen in the air so you pass out with little or no warning. - od TheGEODEAHOLIC
