i skipped it too but its required for the ancient weapon quest.. (err i mean the grand company advancement thingy) - od Endurance
I was given this as a 'trial' to get my next Grand Company Promotion - od jrhibner
When I unlocked this dungeon it was optional but now grand companies are requiring it in order to unlock Amdapor Keep. They are also requiring The Sunken Temple of Qarn as well. I found this video extememly helpful. I am a LVL 50 WHM and couldn;t keep up with the healing because my party didn't eat the fruit. - od edenskye
I'm a tank and really don't find this dungeon all that hard. The biggest problem i have with it are dpss that do not know the fights or accidently lure extra mobs in this first room. - od Matthew Poston
grand companies require this dungeon for a rank up.
