I agree. :-) but if a piece of jewelry goes to a magnet that someone has told you is gold or possibly silver, then they are generally wrong because gold or silver wouldn't go to a magnet. Except in the case of Rhodium plated silver. Also, using the magnet will save you from having to acid test everything. - od 2ndhanddaisy
