National Geographic, you are ruining your channel by making not only super basic and boring, but super repetitive! California has been closed to small scale recreation dredging and many other low impact activities for years. Different legislation and management practices by EPA//BLM//Forestry service has denied access and use by the general public to great areas of our national forests and BLM lands. Its not lawful or right that we should be defrauded of the use of the public lands . This is also true of Idaho and other states as well. Most people are losing out thru ignorance, a blind eye or apathy.and allows a few to dominate public resources. Believe it or not even some places like cabins or structures that have been registered as historical landmarks with the feds have been burned down by the forestry service . The actual trick is to find a spot on the mountain with a strata change and wash the dirt from long lived roots. Little more destructive if done incorrectly I've pulled 3/10 oz in finds in one needed overgrowth clean out area before. It was a life long ago.
